Tutorials - Matricula Consular

If you work or live within our field of membership you may start a membership with the SCCCU using a Matricula Consular de Alta Seguridad. This form of the Matricula identification card, issued after April 17, 2002 by the Consulate General of Mexico, will be honored as sufficient identification to open a membership if it carries the bearer's current address. If the address is not current another form of proof of residency will be required.

With the MCAS Matricula Card, a savings account may be established that provides the following services: check-cashing, money orders, travelers checks, wires, ATM, and cashiers checks. Fees for some of these services are based on minimum balance.

For more information visit or call Elodia Mendoza at 831-786-1970 in our Watsonville office or Griselda Hernandez at 460-2326 at our Santa Cruz office.
