CCBA Quick Links: How The Alliance Can Benefit your Child Care Business Santa Cruz County Child Care Business Alliance (CCBA) uses a collaborative, cooperative approach to reduce administrative and program costs. By centralizing services, the Alliance promotes greater efficiency while recognizing child care as a vital component of a healthy local economy. By creating “economies of scale,” CCBA enables members to reduce duplication of effort, avoid needless negotiation, distribute expenses, and realize significant savings. And by speaking with one voice, the Alliance serves as a powerful advocate for all child care centers. Members receive direct assistance in a variety of key areas, among them:

CHILD CARE BUSINESS ALLIANCE The Santa Cruz County Child Care Business Alliance is designed to function as a business development service, a professional support network, an educational resource, and a bulk purchasing program. As part of the CCBA, you can multiply your strengths by working collaboratively with other committed child care center directors as well as financial resource agencies and business development specialists in the community.
THE CCBA VISION
The start-up phase of the Child Care Business Alliance has been generously supported by the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County and the Community Advisors Network Fund, working through ChildCare Ventures. The Concept for CCBA was developed by child care directors and other child development professionals in the Santa Cruz area, with research, business planning and initial program development provided by ChildCare Ventures.

El Pajaro Community Development Corporation (CDC) Human Resources Agency of Santa Cruz County (HRA) is a source of child care subsides as well as loans for expanding and maintaining childcare slots. Santa Cruz Community Ventures (SCCV) equips people to achieve lasting economic security through financial education, assets-building tools, revolving loans, and technical assistance. MEMBERSHIP DUES Membership dues are collected on an annual basis. We are currently offering a special that covers 15 months at the 12 month cost.
